Your New Role Located in our modern, centrally located Auckland CBD office, as a Senior Full-stack engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our development efforts, working closely with stakeholders and other developers to deliver solutions that exceed expectations. From developing new functionalities to maintaining and improving our existing code base, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our applications remain performant, secure, and user-friendly. Your key responsibilities will include: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse evolving business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs Maintain and improve our existing code base to ensure optimal performance and security Incorporate appropriate test frameworks into all delivered code to ensure reliability and quality Document system design and enhancements, and develop automated tests and suites as needed Follow SDLC processes and tooling, striving for continuous improvement and efficiency Provide L3 application support and report errors to vendors as necessary Communicate best practices related to IT standards, policies, and application systems Provide input to budget cycles, IT roadmap, and strategy plan s To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have the following skills and experience: 7+ years of experience in IT development and support environments Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), React.js, Redux, RESTful APIs and micro-services Experience with front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM Familiarity with development tools like Git, Jenkins, and JIRA Experience with Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns and coding standards Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks, object-oriented analysis and design, and relational databases Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Knowledge of CI/CD, coding support tools and best practices (e.g. linters, static code analysis, debuggers) Familiarity with secure software development awareness und practices (incl.
