Business Analyst Permanent National Office, Wellington Who’s the team? This is an opportunity within our National Office to join a team that helps shape the way people interact with MSD. We are looking for a Business Analyst to help form up our mahi to ensure a cohesive, client-centric opti-channel experience is provided. You will be working as part of an Agile product team that's focused on delivering self-service solutions. The work is a mixture of ongoing support functions, implementations of new products and services, and pre-discovery/discovery work. Responsibilities: Support the Product Owner with delivery planning, grooming, estimation, and prioritisation of the backlog. Analyse and understand business needs and translate them into fit for purpose user stories/requirements with clear acceptance criteria. Provide day to day support around our current product and services. Providing a user-focused mentality to new services. Facilitate requirements gathering workshops with Subject Matter Experts. Work with system & UAT testers to support the completion of testing activities. Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of business outcomes. Provide reporting and feedback from stakeholders, users and team members around discovery across new products and services. Engage with stakeholders, delivery team members and vendors to fully understand, communicate and document process, workflows, requirements and solutions. Experience you’ll bring: Working as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment (within a government agency). Delivering digital features that provides benefits for our clients, staff and the ministry within a complex environment Creating user stories that focus on digital applications. Defining business requirements and working with design principles and Customer Experience. Excellent communication skills.
