Kitchen Stewards We are looking for energetic, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals to aid in our kitchen operations at the Hermitage Hotel. Experience is desirable but not essential; your CV and referees must show a proven record of commitment, hard work, and willingness to take on a challenging and essential role. You will need a strong sense of personal and professional hygiene as you will be working in a food environment. You should be physically fit, as this is a physically demanding role, and having a strong team mentality and good communication skills are important. In this role, you will be responsible for: Cleaning in all stewarding areas – pot wash / dish wash / café Cleaning of kitchen’s food preparation areas including fridges/freezers, food storage areas and walkways. Cleaning of equipment, floors and other areas as required Assisting in maintaining hygiene standards throughout the kitchens Transferring and checking supplies and equipment, communicating needs, and ordering as required Basic food preparation including washing / peeling / cutting Work as part of the stewarding team to maintain a pleasant and safe working environment Actively and positively communicate and promote comradery between all food and beverage departments What do we need from you?
