Team Administrator - Rotorua - Oranga Tamariki Provide high-quality administration support Fixed Term until 30 June 2019 Based at Te Aka Mauri Children’s Hub About us: At Oranga Tamariki we want to transform the lives of New Zealand Tamariki. We have a big journey ahead of us, in order to make it happen we need the right people who are authentic about driving meaningful change, through truly believing in our passion and purpose. About the team: Children’s Teams support vulnerable children who do not meet the statutory intervention threshold for care and protection but still require intensive, cross-agency services and support. It's not another service, but a coordinated, cross-agency approach. Children's Teams work across agencies, iwi, health, education and social services to ensure children their whānau get the right support and services. Overview of responsibilities: Provide high-quality administration support Organising meetings and arranging travel Diary management to the Children’s Team Support Manager ‎and the team Setup and maintain electronic records Book venues for meetings, workshops and focus groups Building trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders Support projects and project teams where key skills and background: To be successful in your application, you should have: Good background in delivering quality administrative support, ideally in a large organisation Thorough knowledge of administrative processes, systems and technology Advanced level of technical proficiency in the Microsoft office of applications Strong work planning and organizational skills to meet conflicting deadlines and strong attention to detail Be able to build effective relationships at all levels both within the Ministry and with outside agencies and clients.
