The business has gone from strength to strength and prides itself on exceeding its customers' expectations. We seek a dynamic and motivated Credit Control Manager to join our ranks. If you're passionate about credit management, customer service, and driving positive outcomes, this role is for you. Role Overview As the Credit Control Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing credit control processes, supervising the credit control team, and building strong client relationships. Your ability to multitask, communicate clearly, and find effective solutions will be crucial. Responsibilities Credit Management: Oversee end-to-end credit control processes, including credit assessment, invoicing, and debt collection. Develop and implement credit policies and procedures. Monitor credit limits and review credit terms. Collaborate with sales and finance teams to resolve credit-related issues. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the Credit Control team. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback. Ensure efficient workload distribution and adherence to deadlines. Problem-Solving Skills: Handle inbound and outbound collection calls. Investigate discrepancies and find swift solutions. Negotiate payment arrangements confidently. Client Engagement: Proactively contact clients to regain control of their finances. Work closely with account holders to create positive outcomes. Implement plans and arrangements for successful credit management. Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in a Senior Credit Control position managing high volume. Experience in Construction Contracts Act and management of retentions. Extensive experience in high-volume credit management. Experience in a Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred. Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks. Personal resilience and confidence, calm under pressure and capable of managing high workloads, multi-tasking when necessary whilst still maintaining a high level of accuracy. Logical thinker with business acumen who can also think outside the box. A team player with excellent phone manners & problem-solving skills. NZ Residency is essential. Knowledge of Regulations Familiarity with the following legislations and regulations is essential: Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003 Construction Contracts Act 2002 Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
