The opportunity: As an Electronics SMT Production Technician at Triode, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electronic components and devices. Your role will be to ensure the production of high-quality electronic products that meet customer requirements and adhere to quality standards. By following detailed work instructions, utilizing technical skills, and maintaining a focus on accuracy and efficiency, you will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations. Main tasks include: Setup, operate and maintain the SMT equipment.Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for product assemblyConstruct electronic assemblies using manual and automated equipmentInterpret supplied files and Bill of Materials to manufacture productsFault finding, repair & rework of PCBA.Assemble prototype boards and mechanical assemblesRecord and log accurate time taken to complete jobsEnsure production documentation is filed promptly and accuratelyCheck and monitor the performance of production equipment and devicesEnsure safety and manufacturing standards are metEnsure a tidy/organised work area is created & maintainedInitiate, develop, and implement improvements to production.Day shifts are available for this role. This role is based in Wairau Valley, Auckland, New Zealand.We are looking for people with relevant industry experience with good technical and problem solving skills.
